As a surprise even to us, this Peck & Snyder Encyclopædia and Price List of Sports and Games from 1873 comes to us from the Internet Archive, who is sharing it from the U.S. Library of Congress. With few images, but many of them colored, this is the oldest catalog we have seen. It includes baseballs and bats (in a unique shape), sports clothing, fitness equipment, rugby and Association foot balls, bows and arrows, cricket gear, roller skates, tents, firearms, and more.
